Xylan Ladista

President of the Board of Directors


Xylan serves as the current President of the Board of Directors. With extensive experience in various leadership capacities across multiple industries since 2017, He entered the roadside assistance industry in 2020. He has played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s reach to new markets and partners. As an avid user of technology, Xylan continually seeks innovative ways to enhance and develop new ideas for the company.

Kody Smith

Vice President of the Board of Directors and Chief Operations Officer


Kody serves as our Vice President and Chief Operations Officer. He brings extensive experience from various leadership roles in different industries. He also serves in capacities ranging from Operations and Financial Accounting to Network Infrastructure for Zippy. With a background in quality control, and directorships in a government agency. Kody's possesses technical expertise in the automotive and mechanical industries.

Doug Rowton

Chief Technology Officer

Doug Rowton serves as our Chief Technology Officer, with over 25 years of progressive experience in enterprise, infrastructure, cloud, solutions, and security architecture. As a former Principal Enterprise Architect at Fortune 500 companies, Doug has led the design and implementation of multi-cloud and hybrid security solutions, enhancing IT system efficiency, security, and scalability. With a strong background in healthcare, federal financial, and technology sectors, Doug has delivered innovative and cost-effective solutions, built high-performing technical teams, and driven process improvements. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Management Information Systems from Kennedy Western University and is passionate about leveraging technology to solve business challenges and create value.

Showcasing our vision

In January 2021, we showcased our innovative roadside assistance and mobility technology platform at the CES trade show. This event marked our introduction to a larger public audience and demonstrated our commitment to revolutionizing the roadside assistance industry.

Brining us back to our roots

Back to roadside assistance

In November 2021, we resumed our pursuit of developing an innovative roadside assistance and mobility technology platform. By shifting our focus to the international market, we aimed to serve the rapidly growing middle class in developing countries, eager to embrace vehicle ownership and our state-of-the-art services.

PaxCom

Our strategic pivot and consulting arm

PaxCom, our new division, was created in February 2021 to focus on providing government services, supporting staffing needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. In October 2023, we expanded PaxCom to include consulting services such as Managed IT Services, Digital Transformation and Process Improvement, Government Contracting and Grants, and Marketing, further broadening our scope and impact.

Founding Day

The day we were came alive!

Our company was founded on October 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. We were initially based in Houston, Texas, initially we envisioned a modern, mobile-first roadside assistance and mobility technology platform, targeting California, Arizona, and Texas.

Original Founders

The first four "NOCX"

In October 2020, our company was founded by a visionary team of four individuals: Noe Villarreal, Camille Reita, Orien Cruz, and Xylan Ladista. By February 2021, Noe had departed, and during our strategic pivot in March 2022, Camille Reita and Orien Cruz stepped down. Xylan Ladista remains with the company to this day, continuing to drive our mission forward.

The Current Founders

The last 3 "KDX"

Our current leadership includes Xylan Ladista, our President, who has been with the company since its founding in October 2020. Kody Smith, who joined as a founder in March 2022, serves as our Vice President and Chief Operations Officer. Doug Rowton, who joined as a founder in August 2023, is our Chief Technology Officer.

The "Pivot"

Helping those in need

In February 2021, we strategically pivoted to focus on providing government services by creating the our PaxCom division. This shift allowed us to support government programs by augmenting agency staffing needs during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, demonstrating our flexibility and commitment to public service.

Our Other Founders

Visionaries who helped move us forward

Wendy Villarreal joined Zippy Roadside Inc. in December 2020 and departed alongside Noe Villarreal in February 2021 during our strategic pivot to PaxCom. Michele Walsh came on board as a founder in February 2021 and left in March 2022 as we refocused on our roadside assistance platform. Jason Bowers joined as a founder and CTO in August 2022 and stepped down in June 2023.
